Week 4:




The whole house is gutted right now.  We opened up the claustrophobic kitchen into the dining room and installed a bar with marble tile and full backsplash.  The new deck is 80% done, just needs railing and the pergola.  The house still needs spackle and paint, new floors (pergo and carpet), bathrooms outfitted and exterior paint.  We opened up the floorplan and bumped the bathrooms over about 2 feet each to expand the small master bath and plan on putting in a ceramic tiled master shower with a bench to replace the tub.  We had to rewire the entire house because it had dated aluminum wiring.  We've installed new insulated windows throughout the house.  It's been a whirlwind, we should be done by the end of the month.
